How to Use Your Ritual Tokens
These tokens are small tools for returning to yourself.
Ritual tokens are small clay objects, each marked with a single word such as Ground, Breathe, or Trust.
They act as a physical anchor, something you can hold, see, and return to when your thoughts feel scattered or your emotions feel overwhelming.
Unlike digital reminders, ritual tokens bring you back into the body.
1. The Pause Method (most important)
When you feel triggered, anxious, or scattered:
-
Hold your token in your hand
-
Read the word slowly
-
Take 3–5 deep breaths
-
Let the word guide your focus
Example:
Breathe → slow your breath
Ground → feel your body
Release → soften your grip
This is your reset moment.
2. Pocket Carry (daily support)
Keep one token with you throughout the day.
-
in your pocket
-
in your bag
-
beside your phone
Touch it when you need:
-
reassurance
-
clarity
-
a moment to pause
It becomes a physical anchor.
3. Altar or Nightstand Placement
Place your token somewhere visible:
-
beside your bed
-
on your desk
-
on your altar
Each time you see it, reconnect to the intention.
4. Journaling Companion
Before journaling:
-
Hold your token
-
Reflect on the word
-
Write from that intention
Example:
Trust → “Where can I let go of control?”
Love → “How can I be kinder to myself today?”
5. Intention Setting Ritual (simple + powerful)
Use your tokens at the start of your day or week:
-
Choose a word you need
-
Hold the token
-
Say it quietly or in your mind
-
Set one small intention
Keep it with you throughout the day.
6. Multi-Token Flow (for your sets)
If you have a set (ex: Ground • Breathe • Trust):
Use them in order:
-
Ground → come back into your body
-
Breathe → regulate your system
-
Trust → release control
This creates a guided emotional reset.
🌿 A gentle note
There is no right or wrong way to use your token.
Let it meet you where you are.
